Being a Foundation Trust means that we have more control of how we shape the services we provide to reflect the needs and priorities of our patients and local community.
Our Council of Governors ensures that we listen to the views of our patients and those living locally, our staff and other interested parties so that we can make improvements to our services and the information about these services. We provide high quality elective and emergency care services to meet the day-to-day needs of our local community.
The Trust is one of the largest local employers with over 15,000 staff working at LUH and also delivering services in the community.
Being a Governor at LUH provides an opportunity to play a pivotal role in influencing how decisions are made and services developed, to have your voice heard and represent the views of others.
Whether you decide to stand for election or not, please use your vote to make sure our elected Council has the best possible support from members of the Trust.
If this appeals to you please consider becoming a Governor of the Trust by standing in our Elections.
