
The below Trust Board Self-Certification relates to 2022-23 an was formally approved by the Board of Directors on 25 May 2023.
The Trust Board is required by its regulator NHS England to self-certify whether or not it has complied with the General Condition 6 and Continuity of Services condition 7 of the NHS provider licence. Following a review of the evidence, and taking into account the views of the Council of Governors, the Trust Board considered that:
The Trust Board is required by its regulator NHS Improvement to self-certify whether or not it has complied with the General Condition FT4 of the NHS provider licence. Following a review of the evidence and taking into account the views of the Council of Governors, the Trust Board considered that that the Licensee had the necessary arrangements in place in order to currently fully comply with the conditions of the licence with regards to its corporate governance arrangements and good governance.
The Trust Board is required by its regulator NHS Improvement to self-certify whether or not it is satisfied that during the financial year most recently ended, the Trust has provided the necessary training to its Governors as required in section 151 (5) of the Health and Social Care Act, to ensure they are equipped with the skills and knowledge they need to undertake their role. Following a review of the evidence, and taking into account the views of the Council of Governors, the Trust Board are satisfied that the necessary training was made available to Governors.
