Hospital restrictions remain in place despite Government announcement

The government have announced the end of COVID-19 restrictions from Thursday 24 February 2022. There will not be a change to the infection control measures within our hospitals, and we will still ask all our staff, patients and visitors to wear a face covering when on our sites. This is to protect our most vulnerable patients from further illness.

As always within our hospitals we ask that you do not attend any appointments, or visit patients if you have experienced any flu-like symptoms within the past 48 hours, including:

  • Fever
  • Cough
  • Vomiting or diarrhoea
  • Loss of taste or smell.
