Understanding how anchor institutions can tackle inequalities and stay rooted in the local community is just one of the ambitions of new Non-Executive Director Ibrahim Ali Ismail who has joined Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (LUHFT).
Ibrahim has been appointed as a Non-Executive Director to Liverpool University Hospital’s Board of Directors.
He will chair the Board’s Charitable Funds Committee, which is responsible for overseeing compliance with Charity Commission frameworks and ensuring that charitable donations are administered properly and invested appropriately in eligible charitable activity in accordance with donor wishes.
Ibrahim has over nineteen years’ experience working locally, regionally and nationally in the voluntary and community sector. He was a Non-Executive Director at Bolton at Home for five years before he became Deputy Chair of the organisation in 2019. His experience also includes holding a director position at Bolton CVS as Chair of Trustees.
