The Cheshire and Merseyside Hepatitis Operational Delivery Network (ODN) is hosted at the Royal Liverpool University Hospital.

We are responsible for supporting NHS England and the World Health Organisation (WHO) in eliminating Hepatitis C as a major public health threat by 2030.

Hepatitis C is one of the most common blood borne viruses in the country. Testing and treatments have improved a lot over the years, and most people with Hepatitis C can be cured with few or no side effects.

The ODN work with all the treating trusts in the Cheshire and Merseyside region to ensure that patients can gain access to life changing Hepatitis C medications.

We also work with local Change Grow Live services and support the management of viral hepatitis in community settings.

All residents in England are entitled to a free at home test if they feel they may be at risk of Hepatitis C. To get your home test, please apply via the NHS England testing portal
